18 Weeks!!!

These few weeks I've grown alot! I can feel the skin on my tummy begin to stretch - baby is growing! Just two more weeks until we learn the gender.

We LOVE our Auntie Andrea!!!

Today I arrived home from work to a very special package from Auntie Andrea. This could not have come at a better time - just yesterday I was feeling some sadness that I don't live closer to my mother nor do I have a sister to share this process with. Andrea's package reminded me that I do have a sister in this process and I feel so loved. Thank you Aunt Andrea, Uncle Lee and Cousin Berkley. These special gifts will be treasured for always.

Another Week, Another 36 Miles

On Sunday, September 19th we completed the Minneapolis Bike Tour with our dear friends Maureen & Jason Clark along with Claude Riedel. I enjoyed this ride much more then the St. Paul ride we did last week. I've been grateful to feel good enough to continue doing the things I enjoy so much.

High Chair - another steal!!!

I've been consistently monitoring craigslist.com for steals on baby stuff. This week I found this high chair for $35.00! After a thorough bath I'm thrilled with the find and money saved. Thank you craigslist!

17 Weeks!

17 weeks and feeling pretty consistently good. We're looking forward to finding out the babies gender in just a few weeks and will be happy to share that development on the blog shortly there after.

4 Months & 38 Miles

Today as a family we completed the annual St. Paul Bike Classic. The route we chose took us through 38 beautiful miles of St. Paul. I feel pretty victorious that I'm 4 months pregnant and was able to hold my own the entire way. Thanks to Claude and Laurel for slowing your pace to stay with me and much thanks to my wonderful husband who kept me going and didn't leave my side. I may not be able to walk tomorrow but it will be well worth the accomplishment.

Lovey

When Aaron was a baby and young child this was his favorite comfort of choice. His name is Lovey and the story goes that out of all the stuffed animals and blanket choices this was also Kagan's (Aaron's little brother) choice of comfort. He's in rough shape but we are so grateful that Laurel kept him safe all these years so that we can share him with our baby.

Tummy Update!

Pregnancy Likes and Dislikes

I've learned over nearly the last 4 months that every women's pregnancy experience is very different. I thought it might be entertaining to highlight some of my top likes and dislikes so far:

LIKES:

1) Ability to fall asleep anywhere - anytime in 30 seconds.
2) Clear skin, strong nails and thicker hair
3) The way Gus sleeps as close to me as possible when Aaron isn't in the bed - something tells me he knows somethings up.
4) The anticipation for each new week and milestone of baby development
5) The love, support and excitement from all of you who mean so much to us!

DISLIKES:

1) Eggs
2) Hello lb's!
3) Chinese Food - much to Aaron's dismay
4) Fear & Anxiety
5) Chocolate Pancakes - there are only a few of you who will know the true meaning of this....

Changing Table

This week we found the perfect Changing Table on craigslist.com for $20.00! It's in perfect condition, matches our living room color scheme and is our first official purchase for the baby.
