Aidan loves watching football. He actually knows when a touchdown is scored or a field goal is successful. This last weekend we watched the Vikings and the Lions game (not verse each other). Both were tense and Aidan was all over it. Notice his Vikings socks and his tribute to the Lions with his outfit. ***Papa we need some new Lions gear!

A boy & his dog...

 It's a funny thing...Aidan & Gus are buds. Gus tolerates him in a way he would never tolerate another child, he is protective of him from even the biggest dogs at the dog park and Aidan prefers him over LoLa every time. Aidan is actually quite unkind to Lola. I think he is jealous of her because I spend more time with her on my lap and holding her then Gus. When we leave Aidan with a new(er) babysitter Gus will sleep outside of his room while Aidan sleeps until he has fully "accepted" the newbie. In many ways Gus still drives us crazy; he is almost five and still has tendencies of the puppy but we have profound moments of love and appreciation of him because we are perpetually shocked by how well he has adjusted to baby. I think as Aidan grows and understands the concept of gentle better these two will be close companions.

Aidan's Schedule

Lately, I've been asked a lot about what is Aidan's schedule? So, I thought I'd break it down for ya'll!

Monday: All day at our house with Lily*

This is Lily! She is a Junior at the University of Minnesota and we love her already!

Tuesday &Thursday:

                        I (mama) drop Aidan off for school at 8:50 a.m. and then head to work

                        Laura* picks him up at 12:30 p.m. and brings Aidan to our house for the afternoon

This is Laura! She is a Junior at Augsburg College  and we also love her already! The moment Aidan and Laura met there was an immediate connection - he adores her.

Wednesday: All day with Oma

Friday: All day with Opa

It's a lot of moving parts for this full-time working mama but Aidan is happy and his life is full with amazing people who love him.

Pre-Pre-School

First day! Heading into school with buddy Mila who is also in Aidan's class (the Rainbow Room)

This is Aidan's back pack and lunch bag. 

Last week Tuesday Aidan began pre-pre-school (no that is not a mis-type) at Temple Israel Early Childhood Center. The school is located in a beautiful synagogue in Uptown (the area of the city where we lived when we first got married) but it is not required that you are Jewish to attend (thought as you know we are). Aidan will be attending school on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for the academic year. His teacher's name is Miriam and though a bit quirky she is quite lovely. He is loving it so far and we're so thrilled with all the things he will learn in the days and weeks to come.
