Mama's 1st Trip Away...

Today (Tuesday) I leave for a conference in New Orleans and I will return on Friday afternoon. I'm both excited and horribly nervous, this is the longest and furthest I've been away from Aidan. Of course, to combat uneasiness I've organized the crap out of everything and pumped a boat load of BM over the last month. Wish me luck!

First Birthday Party

Aidan's first birthday party took place on Saturday, February 18th, in the afternoon. It was a beautiful day surrounded by amazing supportive friends and family. There were animals, cupcakes, candy and a mountain of gracious gifts. You don't get to the do the first one twice, I hope when he's old enough to understand he'll feel we did him proud.

This is a borrowed outfit. At first glance we thought it was so cute, once on we thought it looked more like a convict outfit. They only thing missing is a streak of orange and handcuffs.

Oma & Opa have a wonderful basket full of different musical instruments that Aidan loves to play. He also enjoys long stretches on their piano. Future music man on our hands? Ok!

New Years Eve Weekend @ the cabin
