4 Month Check Up

Today we had Aidans 4 month check up - such a healthy baby we have. Three more shots but little man only cried for a moment and then was comforted in mama's arms.

Height: 25 inches (50th percentile)

Weight: 15lbs (59th percentile)

Head size: 43.5 cm (80th percentile)

We're so grateful for our healthy baby boy. These next two months will be exciting as he begins to put all the movements together. The doctor recommended we get down on hands and knees and begin the baby proofing process - it's about to get interesting! Good job Aidan, way to grow!

Watching the rain with Daddy

Sadly, the rain continued throughout the day today. Nevertheless, Aidan enjoyed watching it out our back door. These are the sweet moments when children remind you to appreciate the beautiful, small things.

Mornings in bed as a Family

When Aidan wakes up between 5am and 6 am, I will nurse him and then bring him back to bed with me to cuddle as a family. This morning it was raining, so we stayed in bed a little longer then usual. Such precious time together.

Auntie Maureen is a very special person in Aidan's life. She championed mommy through her pregnancy, was the first friend to visit the day Aidan was born (and brought cupcakes) and has been on hand as a great support system in the months since little man has come into our lives. We love our Auntie M and know she will be a very special lady in all our lives for all the days to come.
