6 Months!!!

Aidan I wish I could more eloquently express how much you mean to Daddy & I. These last six months have been the most happy, exciting and rewarding of both our lives. You are joyful, mellow, curious, patient and resilient. There have only been two occasions in your entire existence when you've ever cried with "reckless abandonment", how lucky are we? At LEAST once a day both Daddy & I say out loud to ourselves "I love our life". Thank you Aidan, thank you for making us a family. Having you is the single best thing that Daddy and I have ever done. You are the joy of our lives and just when we think we can't possibly fall more in love with you, another day begins and we fall a little further. We feel blessed and honored to be your parents, and we look forward to all the days, months and years to come as we grow as family. Never forget that we love and support you for who you are today and for who you become. To us you are perfect.

My New Friend - Riley!

Mama is no longer able to stay home on Mondays with her Little Man, because of her new job. So, Nanny Karly will be providing "joint care" for Aidan & Riley. Riley is the son of a nurse midwife that works with Oma. We're so grateful that Aidan can still be with "his girl" Karly and have a new friend in Riley. This is a picture that Karly took yesterday during their first day of joint care. Apparently, Aidan was very sweet to Riley - putting his hands on his arms and head and smiling. Riley is 3 months (Aidan now 6) and we're sure they'll grow together and become good buddies.

Hey Blue Eyes

Both Oma and Nana have blue eyes, so we knew there was a slight chance that Aidan would keep those baby blues. Now that we are just a few weeks short of six months we are that much more convinced we'll have a blue eyed little man. Amazing how human genetics work.
